How your pool pays out
You don't set prize amounts — the players' entries do. Here's the whole model:
80% of every entry goes to the prize pool (you can raise this, but never below 70%).
Your cut is 10%, and it climbs to 12% at 26+ players and 15% at 101+ — always paid from our side, never out of the players' pool.
Any sponsor money you boost a pool with goes 100% to players, on top of the 80%.
The prize pool then splits two ways: 85% is the season prize, paid to the top third of the final standings and steeply top-heavy (1st wins the most, decaying down). The other 15% is spread across the weeks — each week's top scorer takes that week's slice. Free leagues ($0 fee) have no pool — just standings and bragging rights.
Add a slate to a season
Pick a contest to run as a week on your schedule. Everyone in the league answers the same slate — you choose the contest, the platform owns the questions.
Boost a pool
Add sponsor or promotional money to a season's prize pool. It goes entirely to players (never to the rake).
